An Overseas Dual Time ‘Everest’, 1 of 150 examples made in titanium in 2021. The Everest built upon a foundation laid by a prototype made for Cory Richards’ third ascent attempt of Mount Everest on the most treacherous North-East Ridge. An updated iteration on that titanium Overseas was then released in 2021. It features a titanium case with a new shape including crown guards not seen on other Overseas, textured gunmetal grey dial with orange accents, anthracite NAC-coated calibre 5110 DT/2, and Cordura strap. Even the rotor was changed to an engraving based on a photo Cory Richards took of the Himalayan range. The Overseas Everest releases are the only outright tool watches Vacheron Constantin has ever made, a purposeful new direction which resulted in one of the most refined yet capable sports watches which has ever been made.
