A ref. 5970R Perpetual Calendar Chronograph, in Pink Gold. The last of the Lemania ébauche, this example comes from early in production with Geneva Seal. The 5970R was Thierry Stern's attempt to bring the storied PCC bloodline into the 21st century. It features a larger 40mm case with beautifully sculpted and finished lugs, restrained tachymeter dial, and beautifully finished classical Lemania architecture. Produced for only 6 years, the 5970 stands at the cusp of Patek's modernization. It offers ties to traditional watchmaking pedigree with a brand philosophy we may not ever see again.
