An exceptionally well-preserved 1680 Submariner featuring a deep pumpkin tritium dial. The white dial Submariner date was introduced in 1976 and set the blueprint for many iterations to come later, but remains the only Submariner date with acrylic crystal. The 1680 is widely acclaimed for its case proportions, locking bracelet, ‘Top Hat’ crystal, and 200m capability. But vintage is made by its condition and charm, which this example receives full marks on. It even has its original caseback sticker on.
